My Fantastic Open Water Course with Dive Point

For Stefan and Monika, learning to dive with Dive Point Koh Tao was about more than completing a course. It was the excitement of discovering a new world together, finding confidence underwater and having plenty of fun along the way.

Their instructor brought exactly the right atmosphere to the experience: calm, patient and focused on safety. There was room for questions and time to become comfortable with each new part of the course. That steady approach helped Stefan and Monika enjoy the adventure without feeling rushed.

Day one: Twins and Japanese Garden

The first day took them to Twins and Japanese Garden. Everything still felt new: getting ready for a dive, communicating underwater and settling into the unfamiliar feeling of breathing beneath the surface.

With their instructor close by, Stefan and Monika could take things step by step. The course combined learning with the pleasure of exploring, giving them reasons to look around as well as concentrate on their new skills. Sharing those first experiences made the day even more memorable.

Day two: growing confidence at Mango Bay

On the second day, the course continued at Mango Bay. The routines were becoming more familiar, and Stefan and Monika had the chance to build on what they had learned the day before.

Their instructor kept the same reassuring pace. Safety remained part of the whole experience, while the relaxed atmosphere left plenty of room for enjoyment. For the two new divers, the fun came from noticing how much more comfortable the underwater world was starting to feel.

The final morning: Southwest Pinnacle

The morning dive on their last day was at Southwest Pinnacle. After Twins, Japanese Garden and Mango Bay, it gave Stefan and Monika another setting to explore together and a memorable final-morning highlight.

Looking back over the course, it was the combination that mattered: different dive sites, learning something new together and an instructor whose calm, safety-conscious approach helped them enjoy each stage.
